After hip surgery I was left not knowing what or how much I should do to improve but not injure myself. Neil, Claire and team helped me have the confidence to regain my fitness without the risk of doing the wrong things or overstretching myself. When the second hip started to deteriorate they built my strength, prior to the operation, specifically to support the hip and commenced an appropriate level of exercise shortly after my op.
My recovery was unbelievably faster than it had been the first time. To see me work out now you would probably be unaware that I have had replacements. I still work with Neil even though the rehabilitation is complete because I have a tailored programme for my needs and devised around the things I really enjoy doing. I continue to improve and know that I will not be pushed into exercises that might undo all of the surgeon’s hard work!
