Completing the Melbourne Marathon blew all of my expectations out of the water! I finished 49th in my race out of a mixed male and female field of 355. I had trained with Neil for 18 months prior to competing and was confident in my body’s endurance and functional/mental strength. Just 3 months prior to competing Neil customised my training programme to enable me to make the distance. The functional training methods Neil used accelerated me into the top 15% of athletes in my first competition.
